I was born in Houston, Texas where I spent most of my life in the big city until moving to Montgomery, Texas with my family. I attended the University of Houston and Thurgood Marshall School of Law. 

In our spare time, my family and I enjoy exploring the local nature trails, fishing at the lake, and seeing the local musicians.
